Sawatie was MIA in the Final Edit of WAP but I Fixed It
I woke up to a shit storm of angry Black hotties upset with the WAP music video. So I immediately went to YouTube and took a look to see what had everybody so pressed. The lip kit girl was given a full 22-second runway walk cameo?
My vagina was just as confused as the internet. Of all the dope girlies that could have had that moment, it was given to the lip kit girl? Black Twitter came up with a laundry list of other worthy candidates for the job.

Even I questioned why Saweetie, Bree Runway, Chloe x Hallie, or The City Girls were not available? Did Cardi and Meg think this video wouldn’t go viral without her What was the reason? Maybe that girl paid them to be in the video to help her image. She’s had a lot of bad PR and Rihanna is squashing her dirt neck skincare line into the ground. Other than for PR, I just don’t understand. If they wanted to donate to the humane society they could have gone about it in a different way, but that’s just my opinion.
I was upset because I just wanted a moment for us brown girlies but the disrespect was astronomical with that cameo. It was like when your colorist cousin brings a white girl to the cookout, you know the fucking vibes. ?
The video did in fact redeem itself with lovely surprise cameos from Normani, Suki Hana, Rubi Rose, and Rosalia but that lip kit girl brought her white pussy into the ethnic mix and us BAPS were NOT here for it. That cameo left a bad taste in everybody’s mouth.
I was so upset that my petty ass did the Lord’s work and took the liberty of editing the video to give the internet what they wanted. And the general consensus was that Saweetie should’ve been in the damn video. Am I petty? Yes. Do I have a lot of time on my hands? This is my job but you’ll appreciate me once you see this video in full.
