The Savage x Fenty Menswear Collection is giving Jodeci
Savage x Fenty has just leveled up yet again with the launch of their new menswear collection in collaboration with rapper and Savage x Fenty ambassador, Christian Combs, and it’s a total 90’s R&B vibe, to say the least
While I wouldn’t personally call it a collection, the garments incorporate fat-banded boxers and boxer briefs with different pops of colors and a satin monogrammed pajama set, that’s already sold out. The rest of the “collection” is currently available on the Savage x Fenty site and individual pieces have an affordable price point, all boxer briefs have are under $10. While this is an okay start into menswear, I was hoping for more garments considering gender is a construct and the “men’s” collection is actually unisex and looks good on everyone.
According to an exclusive GQ interview with Christian Combs, the design of the collection was originally way more low key prior to putting his swag on it. The dopest piece out of the entire collection is the smoking jacket which would look sexy on anybody, even a cis straight bum a$$ fu*k boi, so beware pooh. None the less the smoking jacket is so sophisticated, it can even be incorporated in your day to day wardrobe, according to Combs.
